Erebus.
Reason?
The word erebus is defined as:
1. the darkness under the earth, imagined either as the abode of sin-ners after death or of all the dead
Also defined as:
1. the god of darkness, son of Chaos and brother of Night
2. the darkness below the earth, thought to be the abode of the dead or the region they pass through on their way to Hades
Now, here's a little bit of background on the word Erebus:
Erebus, in Greek religion and mythology, was the personification of darkness.
In Greek mythology, Erebus or Erebos("deep blackness/darkness or shadow") was the son of a primordial god, Chaos, and represented the personification of darkness and shadow, which filled in all the corners and crannies of the world. He wasthe offspring of Chaos alone.
So, there you go. That probably was a little too much information. There are hints in there about what's to come, but that's all I'm saying. Oh, but chapter two is on it's way!
Toodle-loo!
Max
P.S. Erebus is only book one of the series. More information on that coming soon!
